Onetouch was the mobile arm of Ghana Telecom just as MTel was the mobile arm of NITEL.

The heading mentioned OneTouch, but I may have missed its mention in the article. How did OneTouch stand before Vodafone stepped in? Were they a separate operator, or had Ghana Telecoms acquired them beforehand?

Kindly clarify.

Meanwhile, the entrance of Vodafone is good, at least potentially. Hopefully, they can spur greater competition in the Ghanian space. Wish Etisalat was making that kind of difference her in Nigeria, but I'm afraid, so far, they just exist.
