Definition: Closed User Group (or CUG) means that your phone can be restricted so that it is only possible to call up to ten people according to a defined setting. If you use a mobile phone at work, the ten people can be the colleagues you need most to be in contact with. Another popular use of this is with mobile phones for younger users (where the parents pay the bills). To use this service, it must be supported by your network and by your phone. You may also have to add this service to your subscription.
