Personal Digital Assistant (PDA)
Definition: A lightweight computer, small enough to hold in the hand - used as a personal organizer and communicator. Most PDAs include applications such as word processor, spreadsheet, calendar and address book. They can also be wireless communicators, handling e-mails, data and faxes. PDAs use pen-based computer software, which recognizes handwriting, instead of a keyboard.
