NIGERIA made a major leap in the application of e-commerce last week when Globacom, Nigeria’s Second National Carrier, introduced a mobile banking service which enables its subscribers to transact banking business from the comfort of their homes with their phones. The service is enabled by Glomobile’s 2.5G network which is currently the only one in the country.
