Ghana Telecom's ONEtouch GSM Has A New Logo; Announces Upgrade To GPRS/EDGE

Accra - Ghana. ONEtouch Services now has a new corporate logo. The new logo replaces the old logo effective December 1, 2005.

In a media briefing held at the ONEtouch office at the Ghana Telecom Headquarters on November 30, 2005 in Accra, the Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Telecom (GT), Mr. Oystein Bjorge stated that the change is in line with market trends. |
The new logo has four concentric circles, brand fonts, colour scheme and key symbols that are in tandem with GT corporate logo. The change of logo is also to reinforce ONEtouch GSM brand values of simplicity, attractiveness and quality.

Mr. Bjorge added that Onetouch is ready for the challenges of 2006. He said that Onetouch GSM mobile phone service is going to introduce a lot of innovative services such as Mobile Content, GPRS and EDGE by the second quarter of 2006. “Lots of value added services will be introduced. Some of the value added services to be outdoored next year include Mobile Content, GPRS and EDGE. We will also pursue our network expansion programme with lots of vigour,” he said. The media also had the chance to interact with ONEtouch management after the media briefing.
