Starcomms Launches CDMA2000 EVDO Mobile In Lagos Nigeria

Starcomms Nigeria has launched Fixed Wireless Access services based on CDMA2000 1xEV-DO in Lagos, the business hub of Nigeria.

The service will be available via mobile handsets, data cards and traditionally fixed applications.

At the end of 2005 Starcomms had approximately 250,000 subscribers.
