The network upgrade will begin on Friday April 21 in the Owo region of Ondo State and will be concluded on April 22. However, the upgrade in Ibadan and surrounding towns will commence on the 24th of April, and will continue for two weeks.

The upgrade, which provides for the replacement of older network equipment, with the latest equipment available is an ongoing process. Several towns have already benefited from similar upgrades -Ado Ekiti,Ekiti State, Ilorin, Kwara State and Osogbo in Osun State.

According to Mrs Amina Oyagbola, Corporate Services Executive, subscribers in Ibadan and its environs may experience disruption during the exercise. She assured affected customers of minimal prolonged disruptions during this period. She said that ‘the project will result in significant network quality and reliability improvements’.

Oyagbola further explained that the ongoing network upgrade is in line with the company’s commitment to providing qualitative services to its valued customers everywhere you go.
