Leading GSM service provider, Glo Mobile, is offering subscribers 15% instant recharge bonus on its electronic Personal Identification Number (PIN) recharge, otherwise called Glo e-PIN.

gloIn the new offer which will end on September 30, 2006, Glo Classic subscribers will enjoy 15% or N75 instant bonus each time they recharge their accounts with N500 Glo e-PIN. Until now, bonus on Glo N500 e-PIN was 10% while the bonus airtime on the N500 physical recharge card remains 10%.

The Glo e-PIN is a 14-digit recharge number loaded unto CDs for dealers who in turn retail them to end users either via SMS or by printing them out. It is another recharge option to the conventional recharge cards.

Besides the N500 e-PIN denomination on which the 15% instant bonus is offered, Glo e-PIN is also available in N1,000, N2,000, N3,000 and N5,000 denominations with instant bonus airtime ranging from 15% to 40%.

With the e-PIN recharge option, Glo Mobile subscribers have two modes of recharging their phones, Ehimen stated. They are the physical recharge cards and the Glo e-PIN.

For the distributors, the e-PINs offer considerable savings in warehousing and logistics costs.

Globacom says it will continue to live up to its rating as a truly Nigerian brand that is sensitive to the challenges and needs of its subscribers by putting options at their disposal.

Electronic commerce is sweeping through the country and Globacom is playing an active part in these sweeping reforms through the introduction of Mobile Banking, Glo Direct, Glo Internet service, Blackberry and Glo e-PINs.
