Vodacom's TravelTalk Helps Lower Costs When Talking To International Visitors

Vodacom, South Africa's leading cellular network launched TravelTalk - a first for South Africans. TravelTalk lowers the cost of making calls to international visitors who roam on Vodacom's network whilst travelling in South Africa. TravelTalk allows Vodacom Contract customers to pay a fixed rate of R3.50 per minute when making calls to international visitors roaming on Vodacom's network.
Furthermore, international visitors to South Africa can make themselves at home and experience the benefit of more affordable calls while roaming on Vodacom’s network.
With Vodacom's TravelTalk service, international visitors roaming on Vodacom's network do not pay for the international leg when receiving calls from Vodacom Contract customers, or other international visitors roaming on Vodacom's network. This is irrespective of the duration of the call.
To use TravelTalk, callers should dial #0# (replacing the prefix) followed by the recipient's number. For example; +4476 678 78900 should be dialled as #0# 4476 678 78900. The recipient is not required to do anything.
