Vodacom's Reverse Charge

Festive Season Vodacom is making it easier than ever for customers to stay in touch with friends and loved ones, even with no airtime. Vodacom’s new Reverse Charge service, available to all its customers, allows customers to phone a Vodacom Contract customer even without airtime.
This service is easy to use and does not require any activation, subscription or airtime. A Vodacom customer who wishes to use Reverse Charge simply dials 082 180 plus the full cellphone number (example 082 180 082 123 4567) of the Vodacom Contract customer he/she wishes to call. The contract customer has the option to accept or reject the Reverse Charge call. By accepting a Reverse Charge call, the recipient will be liable for the cost of the call at their applicable out-of-bundle Vodacom-to-Vodacom peak or off-peak Contract package rates.
