Spacefon Areeba Having Problems Parts Of Volta Region

2005-05-16 10:34:59 | Viewed 4451 times

Hohoe, May 15, GNA - Subscribers to the Spacefon Areeba mobile phone network in parts of the Volta Region have, for the past three months, been finding it difficult to get calls through to numbers within the network and outside it.

This has compounded communication problems in the region, thought to be improving with the springing up of Spacefon cell sites in the region.

Mr Bless Billy, a communication centre operator, said the problem was more pronounced in Hohoe and Ho.

He told the Ghana News Agency that the problem had rendered the Space-to-Space machines, bought for business, virtually useless. He noted that since Spacefon had a wider network in the region than other operators, the current connectivity problem was making the running of businesses difficult.
