KASAPA Increases Phone Number Digits To Seven; Changes Logo

Ghanaian cellco, Kasapa, which recently upgraded its network from AMPS to CDMA platform, has also changed the number of digits for the phone numbers on its network from six to seven.

The change might not be unconnected to the much-anticipated phenomenal increase in its subscriber base.

Kasapa announced earlier this year, its intention to extend its network coverage nationwide, as well as upgrade its network to CDMA thereby phasing out its old AMPS analogue AMPS (analogue) network.

Kasapa has also recently changed its logo, giving their name a bolder and more distinct look and feel with their gong icon poised elegantly beside the name.

One can only wait to see events unfold at Kasapa since it appears the cellular company is fast becoming a formidable force in the Ghanaian mobile phone sub-sector.
