Mobitel Introduces Buzz “Caller Ring Back Tone”

Millicom Ghana Limited (Mobitel) operators of Buzz GSM, well noted for introducing very exciting services, has introduced yet another value added service “Buzz Caller Ring Back Tone” – “Buzz CRBT”. Buzz CRBT is a service that allows the one who is making the call to hear selected music or audio clips instead of the traditional “tring tring” or “ringing” sound that is heard until the call is connected.

Buzz GSM subscribers who intend to enjoy the new service must register on www.mybuzz.com.gh Upon registration, a password would be sent to the subscriber's Buzz Phone number via SMS.

This caller ring back tone (CRBT) service is a personalised mobile music service where the caller hears songs instead of the traditional switchboard ‘ring-ring’ tone.

Traditionally, ring back tones were fixed by the service provider and consisted of uninteresting ringing or beeping sounds. Now, with Buzz GSM subscribers have been presented with the newest trend in cell phone personalisation. Through this service, thier customers' mobile experience has been re-defined since CRBT meets the subscriber's communication as well as entertainment need, thereby making the mobile phone a true representative of its user’s personality.
