Lagos – Nigeria. Vmobile Nigeria announced that it has upgraded its network to 2.5G, to enable it carry much larger volume of voice and data traffic. The Nigerian GSM cellular provider also announced an offer of free Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) till end of January next year for all multimedia messages sent within its network.

I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO SEND ANY MMS TO ANY VMOBILE SUBSCRIBER AFTER BEING ACTIVATED. ALSO,I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DOWNLOAD FROM THE INTERNET USING THE VACTIVE WAP AFER BEING ACTIVATED (E.G.TO DOWNLOAD SONGS FROM THE SAMSUNG FUNCLUB). I USE A SAMSUNG V200 AND MY NO. IS 08023147512.

It appears your Vactive wap GPRS works only on Nokia phones only; I thought I could access the internet service with a Samsung D500, I was wrong. I’m looking forward to buying another cellphone that is enabled, not necessarily Nokia-preferably a Motorola L7.I want to know if it’s enabled.

HELLO CELTEL,is a great oppotunity to express my comments,l have two cell phones in which none of them can connected to ur gprs/wap.The phone make are [Sharp-Gx12 and Siemen FT62].l have made several attend to connected them but it was aboutive e.g.service centre and customer care service[111] but no favourable effort.But my OBSERVATION is that most of your service centre are reluctant to accept other make phones except only NOKIA phone,And they wiill be discourage the seal that someone may have at intaill stage bcos l had have an expirence befor.
Ihave a samsung that is accept only Vmobile line whate is the solution to it.
